The makers unveiled the song on their Instagram account showcasing the beautiful chemistry between Ajay and Tabu.

Sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Javed Ali, the song captures the feeling of young love and the longing to be reunited.
The film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, has music composed by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani and lyrics by Manoj Muntashir.
Talking about the song, writer-director Neeraj Pandey said that the song captures the essence of all the seven stages of love."It is said that there are seven stages of love. 'Tu' is a song that captures the essence of all these seven in a duration of 4 minutes and 11 seconds. It is a song about love and it takes a lot of effort. Also a big thank you to my partners in crime, composer Cream Saab and lyricist Manoj. My heartfelt thanks to my singers Sukhi Pa and Javed and thank you to all the composers involved in 'Tu'," he said.

The trailer begins with the voiceover of Ajay Devgan, who is convinced that no one can separate him from the love of his life (Tabu). However, destiny had something else in store.The video showed Ajay sitting in jail.
