Gwalior: Four members of a family were killed and one person was injured when a speeding truck hit their autorickshaw in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. A police officer gave this information.

He said that this incident happened at 2 o'clock in the night on Morena Highway in Old Cantonment area of ​​the city.

Assistant sub-inspector Dharmendra Chauhan of Old Cantonment police station said, "Naresh Valimiki (52), his wife Usha (45), their son Rahul (25) and niece Ankita (16) died, while the autorickshaw driver sustained injuries." Due to which he has been admitted to the hospital."

He said that the deceased were residents of Banmore in Morena and were returning from a wedding ceremony in Bhind district.

Chauhan said, "The truck driver fled from the spot. He has been booked for rash driving and other offenses and efforts are on to nab him."
