Agartala (Tripura) [India], Chief Minister Manik Saha on Sunday urged the youth working outside Tripura to return back and contribute to making the state an ideal place to live and work.

Dr. Saha made this comment during a felicitation program for meritorious students who have excelled in the secondary and higher secondary examinations this year. The program was organized by 8 Town Bardowali Mandal.

Addressing the students, Dr. Saha stressed the importance of resilience and hard work. Saha said, “For those who have cleared the board exams and those who have not, I want to emphasize that failure is the foundation of success. There is no substitute for hard work, and counseling is also essential. In India, there is pressure on students to score high marks, which unfortunately drives some people to commit suicide.''

He said, "Students should talk about their stress to de-stress themselves. The program 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi aims to keep students free from pressure. Students should engage in meditation. One should listen to Gayatri Mantra and do other similar activities." Said.

Saha highlighted that education is the cornerstone of success and a means to eliminate negative thinking and pointed out that many youth from Tripura hold prominent positions in other states and abroad, and encouraged them to return to Tripura.

“The young generations are the future of Tripura. In many other states, youth from Tripura are working in key positions like in AIIMS hospitals. I urge these youth to return to Tripura. Many people are also working abroad. I encourage them to come back." Dr Saha said, "We are making all necessary arrangements to make the state an ideal place."
