Bineet Roy of Tripura won bronze medal in 100 meter race. Freestyle event of the 10th Championships. "Tripura's Bineet Roy is making India proud... Congratulations to the para swimmer for winning the bronze medal in 100m freestyle swimming at the City Para Swimming World Series Championships held in Singapore," the Tripura chief minister said in a post. The CITI Para Swimming World Series Singapore 2024 saw the global launch of “Swim Together” workshops, a coaching program run by World Para Swimming, which aims to enhance the skills of Para swimming coaches around the world. The City Para Swimming World Series is held for the third time at the OCB Aquatic Centre, Singapore's sports hub. The championship began on 14 May and is scheduled to end on 19 May. The tournament included new youth finals in an effort to promote the development of young para swimmers. The event was also the last chance for all para-swimmers to qualify for the Paris Paralympics 2024.
