Tripura (Agartala) [India], Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Monday strongly condemned the alleged attack by members of Twipra Students Federation (TSF) on ABVP workers at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) College, Agartala.

“Our members were actively engaged in assisting students in the admissions process as part of our “May I Help You!” initiative to help newcomers. The attack on our dedicated volunteers is not only an attack on our organization "But it is also an attack on the spirit of our efforts to promote student cooperation and support," ABVP said in a statement.

The statement said that the ABVP members present at the MBB College were dedicated to facilitating a seamless admission experience for the interested students. However, the peaceful atmosphere was disrupted when members of the TSF, an organization known for its confrontational tactics, started creating disturbances among the students waiting in line. When ABVP members intervened to restore order, TSF members resorted to physical aggression against those defending the students' right to a hassle-free admission process.

ABVP Tripura state secretary Sanjit Saha said, "ABVP is committed to creating a meaningful campus life and reviving the campus culture. Such acts of violence are unacceptable and will not deter us from our mission of helping students. We will appeal to the authorities Urge to take strict action." Taking action against criminals and ensuring a safe and conducive environment for all students."
