Jaipur: Congress Rajasthan president Govind Singh Dotasra on Tuesday claimed that vote counting trends indicate that the India Bloc will form the government at the Centre.
During the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-led NDA is leading on 296 seats and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party is not far behind on 227 seats.
"India Bloc is forming the government in the country. There is no question of Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister," Dotasara told reporters here.
On vote counting trends in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and other states, he said, "This is the public's blessing. The public has made up its mind. BJP is a party of liars. It just gives slogans. Lies."
