According to the Centre's National Center for Seismology (NCS), tremors with a magnitude of 4.5 were felt at a depth of 10 kilometers at 7.14 am.

Hingoli Collector Jitendra Papalkar said in a statement that earthquake tremors were felt in some parts of the district today and its epicenter was in Rameshwar Tanda village of Kalamanuri taluka.

The impact of the earthquake, which lasted for about 20 seconds, was also felt in other districts like Nanded, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, although there is no news of any casualty so far.

Many residents panicked after feeling the ground beneath them suddenly tremble, ceiling fans swinging, and some ran out of their homes as the shaking continued for about 20 seconds.
