New Delhi: Synchronization of traffic lights in the western part of Delhi has led to over 16 per cent reduction in congestion calls in April compared to the same month last year, police said on Saturday.

According to the police, in its ongoing commitment to reduce traffic congestion in West Delhi, the Western Range of the traffic police has launched a significant effort to synchronize and recalibrate the timing of traffic signals at several junctions.

“Initially, we have successfully synchronized 60 traffic lights spread over 20 junctions, mainly in the areas of Dwarka, Nangloi and West Vihaa traffic circles.
