New Delhi, Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Wednesday said its wholesale sales in April increased 3 percent year-on-year to 20,494 units.

The automaker had shipped 15,510 units to its dealers in April 2023.

The growth momentum was sustained despite a week-long maintenance shutdown on April 6 for maintenance of machinery and equipment to maintain operational efficiency, productivity and safety, the company said in a statement.

Last month, the company said its domestic sales stood at 18,700 units, while exports totaled 1,794 units.

“Our product strategy echoes the strong connect we have with the market thanks to a diversified portfolio,” said Sabri Manohar, vice president, sales-service-used car business, Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
