Siliguri (West Bengal) [India], The Bharatiya Janata Party Minority Morcha leader who allegedly carried out the attack in West Bengal's Cooch Behar met West Bengal Governor Anand Bose on Tuesday.

Talking to journalists, the victim said that people from the ruling party beat her up, stripped her of her clothes and beat her.

Speaking to reporters, she said, "TMC people beat me up. I was stripped and beaten. I don't trust Mamata Banerjee and the police. I belong to BJP."

When asked whether he would get justice after meeting the Governor, he said, "I have full confidence."

Earlier on June 29, BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul had said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation into the alleged incident of attack on BJP's Minority Morcha leader in Cooch Behar.

Union Minister and West Bengal BJP President Sukant Majumdar formed a seven-member team to investigate the alleged attack on a BJP Minority Morcha leader in Cooch Behar on June 28.

The seven-member team includes BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul, MLA Sikha Chatterjee, Falguni Patra, Shashi Agnihotri, MLA Malti Rava Roy, Mafuja Khatoon and MP Jayant Roy.

West Bengal Police said that a case has been registered in connection with the alleged incident and three suspects have been arrested.
