Bhopal: A 14-year-old tiger has died due to "age-related" problems at Bhopa's Van Vihar National Park, a veterinarian at the facility said on Thursday.

He said that tiger Panna died in the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday due to age related reasons.

Park veterinarian Dr Atul Gupta said that apart from this, the cat was also suffering from weakness in its hind legs.

Panna was brought to Van Vihar National Park, a major tourist attraction, from the Kanha Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh in 2014 when the wild animal was four years old, he said.
