In Mumbai, Maharashtra, three newly elected Lok Sabha MPs (Sharadchandra Pawar) from Congress and NCP met ally Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray at his residence on Tuesday.

Congress MPs Balwant Wankhade and Shobha Bachhav and NCP's (SP) Bhaskar Bhagare, elected from Amravati, Dhule and Dindori, paid a courtesy call on Thackeray at his residence 'Matoshree' in Bandra.

Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP) contested the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra as part of the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and won 30 out of 48 seats in the state.

Former state minister and Congress MLA Yashomati Thakur and Congress officials were present during the meeting.

Chhatrapati Shahu, Congress MP elected from Kolhapur, met Thackeray at his residence on Monday.
