New Delhi [India], Even though BJP is leading in early trends on the day of counting, Delhi Minister Gopal Rai says the Bharatiya Janata Party alliance will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and end dictatorship.

"We are hopeful of a positive result from the country. We have received a positive response from all the seats where AAP is contesting. We are confident that the Indian alliance will win and there will be an end to the dictatorship. The Indian faction will win.Rai said while talking to ANI, this time Aam Aadmi Party will be much better on Lok Sabha seats.

He said, "India Bloc candidates are contesting on all seven seats in Delhi. I want to tell the people to continue this fight against dictatorship till the end. We will fight even today when the votes are being counted."

Commenting on recent trends indicating BJP's lead, Rai dismissed them and said these were just the latest updates and results would be different by the evening.According to the latest trends, Bharatiya Janata Party is leading on six seats in the national capital.

From Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency, Congress candidate is leading with 7687 votes, while BJP candidate Praveen Khandelwal is lagging behind.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is hoping to come to power for the third consecutive time, while the opposition under the umbrella of India Bloc is trying to snatch power from the ruling party.

Most exit polls predicted a straight term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with some of them projecting a two-thirds majority for the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Two surveys predicted that the BJP would improve its tally from the 303 seats it won in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In the 2019 elections, NDA won 353 seats, out of which BJP alone won 303 seats. The opposition UPA got only 93 seats, of which the Congress got 52 seats.
