He said the election notification will be issued on April 29 and the last date for filing nominations is May 6.

The scrutiny of nominations will be done till 7th May and candidates can withdraw their nominations till 9th ​​May.

He said the number of first-time voters in the age group of 18 to 19 years is 365,504.

District election officers have been asked to honor him and make him election icon in their respective districts. He said that a candidate can spend a maximum of Rs 95 lakh in elections. For this, each candidate will have to open a separate account and submit the account of election expenses to the Election Commission within one month of the election.
