BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh government on Monday denied reports of migration from the state and blamed the difficulty in finding laborers for the increase in people's income.

This claim was made in a written reply to a question by BJP MLA Rajesh Kumar Shukla on the first day of the budget session in the state assembly.

Shukla had asked whether the government was aware that it was becoming difficult to find agricultural laborers in the Bundelkhand region due to migration and other reasons.

The MLA sought information about government schemes to provide agricultural equipment, stating that if various agricultural operations like weeding, hoeing, irrigation and harvesting would be done with both human workers and mechanical equipment, the input cost of farmers and increase in production would be reduced. Will happen.

In a written reply, Farmer Welfare Minister Aidal Singh Kansana said, "There is no evidence of migration in the Bundelkhand region." However, due to the increasing income of the people, the problem of labor is gradually increasing in the entire state. To deal with this situation, agricultural mechanization is being promoted.

The Minister said that due to continuous promotion of agricultural equipment distribution by the department, machine production in the state is strengthening and the number of manufacturers is increasing.
