Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], An FIR was registered on Saturday against Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader DK Shivakumar for alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct. According to the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka, Shivakumar allegedly violated the MCC while addressing apartment owners. Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, RR Nagara has filed an FIR under section 171 (B) (C) (E) (F) of the IPC for "bribery and undue influence" in elections. An FIR has been registered by FST. FIR No. 78/2024 has been registered under Section 171 (B) (C) (E) (F) at RMC Yard PS against Bengaluru Deputy Chief Minister D Shivakumar for violation of MCC while addressing apartment owners in RR Nagara .
