The documentary is based on the lives of Tanuja's two aunts, Sudha and Radha, aged 86 and 93, who had retired to Lahra, a village just outside New Delhi. The film chronicles his tricks and enduring spirit. The trailer offers a glimpse into their daily routine, their playful banter and their bond.

Talking about the documentary, Tanuja, who is known for 'Dushman', 'Sangharsh' and 'Qarib Qarib Single', shared: "I hope the audience will be touched by the affection between the sisters and their fights. Co-dependence is shared not only among my aunts, but also with their adopted family, the 6-member household staff, in their little universe where everyone takes care of each other. A reflection of a fading culture that may not be a part of our lives for much longer.”

He further noted: "That's why I felt compelled to make this film – with his demise would come the end of this way of life, this language, these cherished customs and these deeply held values."

Producer Anupama Mandloi said the film is a poignant reminder of the importance of community, especially in today's isolated world dominated by digital devices.

“It celebrates food as a source of eternal joy and highlights the simple pleasures of living in the present. Anupama Mandloi said, "Honest conversations about death, love and relationships offer a wealth of wisdom that will resonate with audiences, who find wonder and strength in the film's understated beauty."

This film will be released on OTT platform Open Theater on June 14.
