Mumbai, Hollywood star Zac Efron's "The Iron Claw" will be available for streaming in India on Lionsgate Play on June 14, the streamer announced on Wednesday.

Written and directed by Sean Durkin, this sports drama presents the true story of the Von Erich brothers, who made history in the competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s.

The official plot states that through tragedy and triumph, under the tutelage of their overbearing father and coach, the brothers seek larger-than-life immortality on sport's biggest stage.

The film stars Efron as Kevin Von Enrich and alongside Jeremy Alan White of "Tha Bear" fame as Kerry Von Enrich.

"They were just attention magnets and the biggest rock stars ever in wrestling came from Texas. They had a very rapid rise and they shined really bright. They were all just dynamic athletes. And then terrible things started happening. "Efron said in a statement.

He added, "They had a bond that was unlike any other relationship in the world. The bond you have with your brother is the most special thing you can have. And in this family, he got the full benefit of that."

"The Iron Claw" also stars Harris Dickinson, Maura Tierney, Stanley Simmons, Holt McCallany and Lily James.
