Mumbai: Tamil film "Aranmanai 4" starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Raashi Khanna is scheduled to release in Hindi language theaters on May 24, the makers said on Wednesday.

The Tamil horror-comedy was released in theaters on May 3 and grossed over Rs 7 crore at the box office, a press release said.

"Aranmanai 4", the fourth installment of the franchise, is directed and written by Sundar C. It is produced by actor-politician Khushboo Sundar's Avani Cinema and ACS Arun Kumar's Benz Media.

The franchise revolves around a large family who return to sell the ancestral property (palace), but discover some supernatural elements in the palace.

It began with "Aranmanai", which was released in 2014, and was followed by two sequels – "Aranmanai 2" (2016) and "Aranmanai 3" (2021).

"Aranmanai 4" stars Sundar C, Ramachandra Raju, Santosh Pratap, Kova Sarala, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh and KS Ravikumar in lead roles.
