Mumbai, Actor Luv Sinha on Monday thanked well-wishers for their concern about his father Shatrughan Sinha's health and reiterated that the veteran star-MP has been admitted to a hospital here after having "high fever". Not that he has had any surgery.

The 77-year-old was also taken to the medical facility for an annual checkup some time last week.

“With regard to my father's health I would like to clarify that there was no surgical procedure, and one should not believe unverified news.

"We took my father to the hospital for his annual checkup, and because he had a high fever. Thank you to everyone who is concerned," she wrote on X.

Sinha, popular for films of the 70s and 80s like 'Mere Apne', 'Kalicharan', 'Vishwanath', 'Kala Patthar' and 'Dostana', was earlier this month fielded by TMC from Asansol in West Bengal in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Was elected MP. Assembly elections.
