Thane, Navi Mumbai Police have arrested ten Ugandan women for staying in India illegally, an official said on Saturday.
He said police raided a building on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday and found that Ugandans were living illegally in Ranjanpada area of Kharghar without any valid documents.
A case has been registered under the provisions of the Foreigners Act 1946 and Passport (Entry into India) Rules, 1950.
The officer said that further investigation is going on.
