Mumbai, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Friday demanded transparency in the recently held Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) engineering examinations in the state and demanded that the marks of students be disclosed and answer sheets given to them. Go. ,

Addressing a press conference here, he said the CET was conducted in a "peculiar" manner and the examinations for the two papers were conducted in 30 batches. Out of these, there was one paper in each of 24 batches.

He said, "We demand that the answer sheets be shown to the students and the marks be told to them. The toppers should also be announced in this matter."

Referring to allegations of irregularities in NEET and cancellation of the UGC-NET exam, the Sena (UBT) leader alleged that the Central and state governments have decided to "ruin" the future of students.

MH-CET is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. Its primary objective is to facilitate the admission process for professional courses like engineering, management, pharmacy, agriculture, law, medicine, AYUSH and fine arts.

Thackeray claimed that there were 54 mistakes in the paper and students raised 1,425 objections and said that in a paper which had multiple choice questions, all four answer choices were wrong.

The former minister said, the results of the students were declared in percentage form.

He said, "Since a paper was conducted in 24 batches, there were instances that some papers were difficult, while others were easy. Those who scored less marks got a higher percentile and those who scored more He got a low percentile."

Thackeray asked how the papers could be set in this manner and why the head of the agency conducting the examination has not been suspended yet.

He said that the percentile has been prepared incorrectly.
