Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday directed officials not to take over buildings like Lake View Guest House, which were allotted to Andhra Pradesh for 10 years.

Telangana has completed 10 years of its formation on June 2. Under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act 2014, Hyderabad was declared the joint capital for a period of 10 years.

The Chief Minister has decided to pay special attention to resolving the pending issue with Andhra Pradesh under the AP Reorganization Act.

He has called a meeting of the state cabinet on May 18, in which the pending issues in the Reorganization Act and the controversial issues pending in Andhra Pradesh will be discussed.In a meeting with ministers and officials on Wednesday, the Chief Minister ordered the officials concerned to prepare a report on all pending issues related to distribution of assets and payment of debts between the two states after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

The division and distribution of assets of organizations and corporations under Schedules 9 and 10 has not yet been completed as consensus has not been reached on certain issues in both the States.

The matter of payment of electricity dues was also pending.

The CM inquired from the officials about the status of distribution of properties and the efforts made so far by the state government to resolve these issues. He directed the officials to amicably resolve the pending transfer and repatriation of employees with their Andhra counterparts.

He also asked the officials to resolve the issues after reconciliation between the two states and take further action to protect the interests of Telangana on the pending issues.The CM directed officials to submit a comprehensive report on the matter pending under the Reorganization Act and details of the cases resolved so far through consensus between the two states.

As soon as the Lok Sabha elections are over, the Chief Minister has started paying attention to public administration. He along with his cabinet colleagues N. BR Ambedkar along with Uttam Kuma Reddy and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy held a meeting with officials of various departments at the Secretariat.

The Chief Minister inquired about the progress of paddy procurement and directed the officials to take steps to ensure smooth procurement without any hassle to the farmers.
