The cabinet also decided to accelerate the procurement of food grains.

District collectors have been entrusted with full responsibility to ensure smooth procurement from farmers.

Paddy soaked due to unseasonal rain will also be purchased at Minimum Support Price (MSP).

The officials concerned have been asked to calculate the loss suffered by farmers in some parts of the state due to unseasonal rains.The ministers said the government has already procured 35 lakh metric tonnes of grains across the state and the money has been deposited into the accounts of farmers within three days. The cabinet decided to take strict action to stop the sale of fake seeds. It directed officials to keep ready the stock of seeds, fertilizers and other needs of farmers as the Kharif season was about to start soon.

It approved allocation of Rs 600 crore to improve the infrastructure of government schools.The maintenance of schools has been handed over to self-help societies through Amma Adarsh ​​Vidyalaya Yojana.

The cabinet discussed issues of emergency and urgent nature as per the direction of the Election Commission, which gave conditional approval to the cabinet meeting on Sunday.
