Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday alleged that BJ and BRS were conspiring to defeat Congress in the Lok Sabha elections with an 'inner understanding'.

He was addressing an election rally at Kothagudem in Khammam Lok Sabha constituency.

Revanth Reddy, who is also the Congress president in Telangana, referred to BR president K Chandrasekhar Rao's comments that a coalition government will be formed at the Center and BRS candidate from Khammam Nama Nageswara Rao will become the Union minister.

Noting that Congress workers will not allow any clash between Congress and BRS, he said the only option left is for BJP to join hands with BRS to form the government at the Centre.

He said, “You (Chandrashekhar Rao) are going to join hands with BJP.This is what we are saying and you are doing this."

He claimed that BRS had supported the BJP-led government at the Center on demonetisation, GST, triple talaq, CAA, Uniform Civil Code and other issues.

He said, "Conspiracy is still going on in Telangana. BJP and BJP with inside understanding are conspiring so that Congress does not win."

He said the Assembly elections held in December were "semi-finals" while the Lok Sabha elections were "final"."In the final, (the contest) is between Telangana team versus Gujarat team. While Narendra Modi is leading that team, Rahul Gandhi ji is going to lead the Telangana team," he said.

He alleged that the BJP-led government at the Center did not implement the assurances given to Telangana in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act such as setting up a steel plant, rail coach factory and tribal university.

Claiming that what the BJP-led government gave to Telangana was a "donkey's egg", he also displayed a picture of a "donkey's egg".

The "donkey's egg" (a Telugu proverb meaning nothing or unimportant) has been a regular feature in Revanth Reddy's rallies during the ongoing campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.Reiterating the allegation that BJP will change the Constitution and end reservation, he claimed that BJP General Secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam talks about changing the Constitution and its Preamble.

State BJP president G Kishan Reddy and other party leaders have already rejected Revanth Reddy's claims that the BJP will change the Constitution.

Objecting to BRS president Chandrashekhar Rao's alleged comments that the farmers' investment scheme has stopped after BRS left office, Revanth Reddy said if any dues of the scheme are pending for any farmer as of May 9, he will Will apologize.
