New Delhi: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Thursday and discussed various issues related to the state, official sources said.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka was with Mallu Reddy during the meeting.

This was the first meeting between Modi and Reddy after he took oath as Prime Minister for the third consecutive time last month.

Sources said the Telangana chief minister discussed major pending projects in the southern state with Modi.

Earlier in the day, Reddy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the two leaders discussed matters related to Telangana.

Though details of the discussions were not officially released, it is understood that issues related to development projects and central assistance to the state were on the agenda.

Reddy took charge as Chief Minister of Telangana after the Congress' victory in the assembly elections in the southern state last year.
