New Delhi, Tech Mahindra on Friday announced the launch of Project Indus, a large language model (LLM) designed to drive conversations across multiple Indic languages ​​and dialects.

The first stage of Indus LLM is designed for the Hindi language and its 37+ dialects.

“Project Indus is our fundamental effort to develop LLM from the grassroots level. Through our R&D arm, Makers Lab, we created a roadmap, collected data from the Hindi-speaking population and created the Indus model.
