The teaser takes the audience to the bloody and sad event of 'Direct Action Day', revealing the brutalities of the massacre suffered by Hindus in Bengal and how the fire of the partition of India spread from Bengal to the entire British India .

Presenting the truth through the lens of a Hindu family reliving the atrocities of the monstrous tragedy, the trailer sheds light on the motive, process and consequences of India's demand for partition. Depicting the communal agitation in the nation and especially in Bengal, the trailer engages the audience with its compelling story, powerful dialogues and heart-warming visuals.

From wiping the tikka off the foreheads of Hindu girls to smashing the Maa Kaali idol, the scenes are sure to be etched in the minds of the audience.

'Maa Kaali' pays tribute to the lives sacrificed in the ruthless genocide and uncovers the conspiracy of division, riots and politics that led to the greatest human crisis of the 20th century.

The pan-India film was shot in Hindi and will also release in Bengali and Telugu in theaters this year.
