New Delhi, EPC firm Tata Projects on Thursday reported profit after tax of Rs 120.57 crore for the quarter ended March 31 due to higher revenue.

Tat Projects said in a statement that the company had incurred a loss of Rs 366.42 crore in the year-ago period.

These figures are after extraordinary and/or exceptional items.

The company's operating revenue rose to Rs 5,412.80 crore during the March quarter from Rs 5,015.21 crore in the year-ago period.

Tata Projects MD and CEO Vinayak Pai said the company's strategic realignment, organizational change and better focus on operational efficiency has started yielding results.

“I am proud to announce that we have returned to profitability, and we continue on our path to predictable and sustainable project delivery through innovation and technology,” he said.

Tata Projects is a technology-based engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company in India.
