The said Act prohibits financial institutions/payment gateways from carrying out transactions in online gambling or online games of chance.

Further, under the said Act, advertisements on online gambling services or online games of chance are prohibited which allow any person to directly advertise in any media, including electronic, in the State or solicit any person to engage in online gambling.
