It was not immediately clear whether, based on the outcome of the meeting, the agitated young doctors would end their current "cessation of work" and resume their duties.

The meeting between chief secretary Manoj Pant and a delegation of 30 junior doctors began at the state secretariat, Nabanna, around 7.30 pm, an hour after the state's scheduled time, and lasted for more than two hours, officials said. sources.

It took another three and a half hours for both parties to finalize the minutes of the meeting which were signed by both parties.
