Kingstown, Afghanistan qualified for the T20 World Cup semi-finals after defeating Bangladesh by eight runs in a rain-affected final Super 8 game here.

Battling repeated rain interruptions in a must-win match, Afghanistan scored 115 for 5 in 20 overs and then bowled out Bangladesh for 105 in 17.5 overs. The match was reduced to 19-overs due to bad weather and Bangladesh were given a revised target of 114.
