'Sarafira' is a remake of Kongara's 2020 Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru', starring Jyothika and Suriya. Both the films. R. Gopinath's memoirs are based on 'Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey', which depicts the journey of a man who set out to create a low-cost airline for low-income people.
