Speaking at the '2nd edition of Toy CEO Meet' organized by the Toy Association of India in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and Invest India in New Delhi, the Minister highlighted the Prime Minister's vision. Narendra Modi of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas".

He also inspired the participants to continue the collaboration and celebrate India's toy manufacturing heritage.

The event was attended by leading global players including Walmart, Amazon, Spin Master, IMC Toys etc. and members of the domestic toy industry including Sunlord Apparels Manufacturing Company, Playgro Toys and others.

Investment opportunities in India for toys were also discussed in the programme.

Nivritti Rai, CEO and MD, Invest India, highlighted that there is a huge market potential for investment in India due to the increasing demand for toys with the growing youth population.

Furthermore, DPIIT Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh highlighted that the government's initiatives coupled with the efforts of domestic manufacturers have led to significant growth in the Indian toy industry.

"These developments indicate India's growing self-reliance in toy manufacturing and increased manufacturing capacity," he said.
