New Delhi, Solar solutions provider SunSource Energy on Tuesday announced the commissioning of three open access solar power plants with a total capacity of 45 MW in Uttar Pradesh.

Located over a combined area of ​​150 acres in Jhansi and Lalitpur districts, these projects have a total capacity of 45 MW and reflect SunSource Energy's continued commitment to expand its footprint in the state, a company statement said.

These three projects together are expected to generate 1.5 million megawatt-hours (MWh) of solar energy and offset 1.4 million tonnes of CO2 emissions during their technical lifetime.

Shantanu Guha, CEO of SunSource Energy, said, “With these projects, we have further expanded our presence in Uttar Pradesh and look forward to working closely with the industry and government in furthering the state's clean energy efforts.”
