Chennai, Sundaram Mutual has launched its Sundaram Business Cycle Fund - an open-ended equity scheme based on a business cycle-based investment theme, the company said on Wednesday.

Sundaram Business Cycle Fund will invest a minimum of 80 per cent in equities and related instruments depending on the business cycle, while others will invest 0-20 per cent in equities and related instruments.

“Sundaram Business Cycle Fund will invest in a portfolio of 35-45 stocks across all sectors and market capitalisations. The fund will remain a benchmark, market cap and sector agnostic, allowing us to utilize key themes to focus on high-potential opportunities. Will be allowed." “The dynamic nature of the fund minimizes allocation risk, giving investors the opportunity to focus on favorable themes and participate in the transformative trends that will shape the future,” he said.

The new fund offer opens for subscription from today and closes on June 19, the company said. It reopens for subscription and redemption from July 1.
