New Delhi, Realty firm Sumadhura Group has acquired 18 acres of land in Bengaluru for Rs 275 crore and is partnering with landowners for three other plots totaling 22 acres to develop housing projects with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 6,000 crore. Has also done.

Sumadhura Group Chairman and Managing Director Madhusudan G said that these four projects will be launched in the next 18 months.

"We have purchased 18 acres of land in Bengaluru for approximately Rs 275 crore. We have also entered into three separate joint development agreements (JDAs) with the land owner for 22 acres of land. “The total developable area in these four projects will be 55 lakh sq fee and we are expecting a cost of Rs 6,000 crore,” Madhusudan said.

Of these four plots, three are in East Bengaluru, one in South-West Bengaluru.

Madhusudan said the company will share the revenue or area with the landlord in three different JDAs.

The company has purchased these land parcels to expand its business, he said, adding that the demand for housing is very strong.

Madhusudan said, “Our experience of over two decades in south-east Bengaluru has provided invaluable insight into the growth path of the area. This knowledge, coupled with the growing demand in the residential market, primarily by the IT sector, gave us the necessary push. and have enough confidence to strengthen our footprint in this emerging high-promise market.”

Sumadhura Group has completed around 50 projects including 11 million square feet of residential and commercial projects in the last 30 years. More than 40 million square feet of additional development, including residential, commercial, and storage projects, is currently underway or in the planning stages.
