New Delhi, Top Indian para shuttlers Sukant Kadam, Tarun and Suhas have confirmed their places for the upcoming Paralympics in Paris.

This is the first time Kadam will be participating in the Paralympics and he will be playing in the men's SL4 category. SL4 is for players who have limited range of motion on one side of their body, both legs, or minor absence of a limb.

Apart from them, Tarun and Suhas have also qualified from this category.

Mandeep Kaur in the SL3 women's category (for players with absence of one side of the body, both legs or limbs), Nithya and Shivraj in the mixed doubles SL6 category also made the cut.

The Paris Paralympics will be held from August 28 to September 8.

Kadam has been performing well for the last few years and is continuously winning medals.

He secured his Paris place by winning the bronze medal in the Asian Para Games. Both Taru and Suhas are also performing brilliantly and are dominating the circuit.

"It's a dream come true for me, I have worked really hard to qualify for the Paralympics," Kadam said in a release.

"But this is not the end of the dream, winning medals and making India proud, I would like this dream to come true."

The shuttler is currently in Bahrain to compete in the Bahrain Para Badminton International Tournament.
