“RJD is disappointed with the expected defeat in this Lok Sabha election, hence they attacked our MP. People have rejected RJD and India faction and now they have resorted to hooliganism. Those who attacked Ramkripal Yadav are RJD goons.”
He said that Bihar Police has formed SIT and strict action will be taken against the accused.
Patna Police has arrested a person in connection with the attack on the convoy of BJP MP Ramkripal Yadav on Sunday.
Yadav was going to Masaudhi on Saturday when some people opened fire on his convoy in Gopalpur Math village.
Police said that two people were injured in this attack.
The accused has been identified as Vikas Yadav, resident of Gopalpur Math.
Patna Police has registered an FIR against nine people Akhilesh Yadav, Suraj Yadav, Bittu Yadav, Vikas Yadav, Gautam Yadav, Aditya Yadav, Satyendra Yadav, Sagar Yadav and Sonti Yadav. Apart from him, a case has also been registered against 35 to 40 unknown people in the case.
