North Sound, South Africa qualified for the T20 World Cup semi-finals with a three-wicket win via the Duckworth-Lewis method over hosts West Indies in a rain-interrupted Super Eights match here.

West Indies, who came out to bat, scored 135 runs for 8 wickets thanks to Roston Chase's inning of 52 runs in 42 balls.

In reply, South Africa were 15/2 in two overs when play was stopped due to rain.

The match was shortened by three overs and South Africa received a revised target of 123 runs in 17 overs.

The Proteas chased down the target in 16.1 overs to bowl out the hosts and become the second team to qualify for the last four stage of the World Cup.

Defending champions England were the first team to qualify for the semi-finals.
