Thane: Some two-wheelers were damaged after a part of a compound wall of a housing society collapsed in Thane city, a civic official said.
Yasin Tadvi, head of the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), said that the incident took place at Brahmanda Residential Society around 11 am.
“Part of the compound wall collapsed, damaging three two-wheelers parked nearby,” he said.
He said that a nearby tree was uprooted to some extent.
According to him, after receiving the information, fire brigade and RDMC personnel immediately reached the spot to take necessary steps.
