New Delhi: Early exit polls have predicted a comfortable majority for the BJP-led NDA, with the ruling alliance expected to open its account in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and sweep Karnataka.

The Republic TV-P Mark poll claims that the ruling alliance will win up to 359 seats and the opposition India Bloc will win 154 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha. The Republic TV-Matrix poll has given the NDA 353-368 seats and the opposition 118-133 seats.

The Jan Ki Baat poll gave the ruling NDA 362-392 seats and the opposition alliance 141-161 seats.

However, several other exit polls, including Axis My India and Today's Chanakya, had not predicted full results till 7.15 pm.
