Mumbai: A 19-year-old man suffering from sleep walking disorder died after falling from the sixth floor of a building in Mumbai, police said on Monday.

The incident took place at Aqua Gem Tower on Nesbitt Road in Mazgaon area of ​​south Mumbai around 5 am on Sunday, an official said.

Mustafa Ibrahim Chunawala was found lying unconscious on the podium on the third floor of the building, he said.

The officer said that after receiving the information, police reached the spot and took the man to Saifee Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Chunawala had the problem of 'somnambulism' (sleep walking), he said.

The Byculla police have registered a case of accidental death and the matter is being investigated, the official said.
