The workshop was organized with the objective of integrating the principles of PM Gatishakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) and National Logistics Police (NLP) in the educational curriculum and training of CTIs and State ATIs.The objective of the workshop is to provide a common platform for brainstorming on integration of real-world logistics and infrastructure challenges into pedagogical strategies, curriculum development and administrative training discourse of government officials.

Singh stressed the important role of capacity building and skill development in the logistics sector to establish efficient and cost-effective logistics and infrastructure systems, the Commerce and Industry Ministry said in a statement.

Logistics human resource development and capacity building is one of the important action items identified under the National Logistics Policy (NLP).
