Authorities were informed on June 14 that a large quantity of e-cigarettes and components were found in a storage unit located in Woodlands Loop.

HSA's follow-up investigation led to two further raids at a condominium unit in Guillemard Crescent and a warehouse unit in Woodlands Industrial Park, which revealed more e-cigarettes at both locations.

The HSA said it suspected 14 e-cigarettes contained a controlled drug, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a psychoactive substance that can cause anxiety, disorientation or paranoia.

It said two men and two women, aged between 34 and 52, are currently assisting in the investigation.

E-vapourizers are illegal in Singapore and strong enforcement measures are implemented against vaping.

Over $18 million worth of e-cigarettes and components with street value have been seized by HSA since January 2024.

HSA reminds the public that it is an offense under the Tobacco Act to import, distribute, sell or offer for sale e-cigarettes and their components.

Any person convicted of an offense may be punished for the first offense by a fine of up to $10,000, or imprisonment for up to six months, or both, and for the second a fine of up to $20,000, or imprisonment for up to 12 months, or both Is. or subsequent offence.
