The 64-year-old music mogul is nothing new when it comes to criticism of his clothing choice. Famous for his blue jeans and white or black sweaters, he is testing the waters with his image.

He has made great suits and interesting choices when it comes to eyewear. But it's not just a fashion choice. He wears red-tinted glasses due to a medical condition, reports 'Mirror.co.uk'.

Simon has previously discussed battling a health condition that causes "laser-like" pain. His red colored glasses reduce this problem to a great extent.

According to 'Mirror.co.uk', the 'Britain's Got Talent' boss has faced various health challenges over the years, including a bike accident that required extensive surgery. Additionally, he experiences migraines, which are severe headaches that are often accompanied by sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, and stiff neck. Treatment usually includes medicines such as triptans and paracetamol to reduce symptoms.

Speaking about his condition and the red glasses, Simon said: "The red glasses are because I have light in my eyes all day long, and it's like a laser, and I get migraines, and it's like a filter. And they really work.”

When asked if he could start a fashion trend, he joked: "I don't think anyone has ever copied my fashion."
