New Delhi [India], Amid the controversy in the country over the discrepancy in NEET exam results, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi condemned the situation, demanding investigation and decisive action against those responsible.

"Students prepare for the NEET exam for years and the paper gets leaked. There is also speculation that the paper was leaked a day before... It has become an ecosystem where coaching centers and colleges all come together to release the paper. "Leaking", expressing concern over the integrity of the examination process."Questions are being raised on the entire system... There should be an independent investigation and action should be taken against those who leaked the paper, which has shaken the future of lakhs of people... On one hand, the youth is unemployed and on the other, 'When they go to give the paper after working hard, the paper gets leaked, injustice is being done to them,' he said, highlighting the widespread impact of such irregularities on the aspirations and future of countless aspiring students. It is noteworthy that UBT leader Priyanka Chaturvedi has also written a letter to Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on the issue of NEET exam results.

“This is to bring to your immediate and immediate attention the concerns over the conduct of the NEET UG 2024 examination by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the shortcomings highlighted after the release of the results on June 4. Examination, paper leaking before the examination, decision to arbitrarily give grace marks to students,” Priyanka Chaturvedi’s letter mentioned.

Meanwhile, Delhi Court on Wednesday issued notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA) in a batch of petitions filed by NEET aspirants. Candidates have raised the issue of NEET 2024 question paper leak, awarding of compensatory marks and discrepancy in questions.A large number of petitions are pending before various High Courts.

Justice Neena Bansal Krishna has issued notice to NTA and listed the matter for July 5. Advocates Gauhar Mirza and Suriti Chaudhary said before the court that there were complete irregularities.

Solicitor General (SG) Tushar Mehta appeared during the case and said there were several petitions in seven high courts.

The SG said, “We are demanding transfer of those petitions to the Supreme Court.The court can adjust the timing so that we can file the transfer petition in the Supreme Court."

He also presented some of the matters listed before the Supreme Court on 8 July. “We (NTA) are in the process of filing a transfer petition,” he said.''
