Washington [US], Actor and comedian Steve Carell is a big fan of Taylor Swift. He praised her for being kind and called her "special," People reports.
During her appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', she shared about being a fan of Taylor Swift.
Fallon said, "You know I was doing some research about things people might not know about Steve Carell and I read somewhere that you were a Swiftie...a Taylor Swift fan."
Carell replied, "Listen, I met Taylor Swift.,
The actor further added, "Remember TRL from way back. At the beginning of my career and in her career too, I was obviously much older, but we both were on TRL at the same time."
"I met her on the street and I thought, 'She's a boy, she seems special,' as she was before. Very sweet, very nice. Very good first impression.,
Carell recalled how many years later, when Swift became a superstar, he came across a video in which she was seen playing guitar for a patient in the hospital.
“Some kid who was recovering from something,” Carell said. "There wasn't a big party. It was really like a low-key, handheld thing that he just did quietly."
He added that he thought, "It's great and it's not publicized."Just leading from my heart."
"I thought, 'Okay, I'm a fan,' I'm going to support the guy," he said.
The host added that Carell is "a really nice guy, too."
"No, no, no. No, not Taylor Swift level," Carell responded."You're very good, you're one of the best I've seen," Fallen insisted.
Carell replied, "It's an act, come on! Hollywood stuff. That's what keeps you going."
