Jalgaon: Nationalist Congress Party (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Lok Sabha election campaign consisted of abusing the opposition Congress instead of discussing the issues facing the country.

Speaking to reporters in Jalgaon, Pawar said the campaigns of previous prime ministers highlighted their vision for the future of the country.

Pawar claimed, "But Modi sir is engaged in jumlebaazi (poll rhetoric) to influence people and is making personal attacks and abusing the Congress. There is no issue before the country and how it will move forward." , There's nothing about it."

The opposition leader said Jalgaon is identified with the Gandhi-Nehru ideology, but admitted that some things have changed over the years.

"But the current situation in Jalgaon and Raver Lok Sabha constituencies is favorable for Maha Vikas Aghadi," he said.

The opposition MVA includes NCP (SP), Congress and Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT).
