On Wednesday night, a local family ordered three ice creams – two mango and one butterscotch. When the complainant's brother, Brandon Ferrao, ate butterscotch ice cream, he felt something unusual in his mouth. Looking more closely, he was horrified to see a severed human finger embedded inside the ice cream cone.

The family, deeply disturbed by the discovery, immediately informed the Malad police.

Police have registered a case against the company under IPC sections 272 (adulteration of food or drink intended for sale), 273 (sale of noxious food or drink), and 336 (act endangering the life or personal safety of others). Have registered.

Malad Police said that the police have sent the human body part found in the ice cream to the forensic laboratory.
